Clinical SupervisionI hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Supervision.
As a Supervisor I aim to offer an environment in which supervisees feel free and supported to explore all that is relevant in their work as a counsellor. This may include: your clients and the issues they are bringing to sessions; your counsellor/client relationships; the context in which counselling is taking place; your wellbeing, competence and development; situations in your own life that you feel could be impacting on your practice; and any thoughts/concerns/comments on your supervisory relationship. Supervision may also involve at times: an exploration of counselling theory with links to practice; examining ethical issues; identifying development needs or the need for personal counselling; and celebrating success. |
How I workAs a humanistic practitioner the relationship is fundamental to me, and my priority is to develop open, honest, and trusting relationships with supervisees. I see supervision as a space for review, reflection and development.
I value and recognise the different contexts (social, cultural, and personal) in which we all live our lives and how this may impact upon your practice and your clients. I charge £55 per hour for individuals. Alternatively, if you are looking for a clinical supervisor to work with a group, please contact me to discuss your requirements. |
