Hello and Welcome to my website ...Counselling and Life Coaching can be a great support during times when things feel overwhelming, unmanageable and/or problematic; however, from conversations with clients, I understand that contacting a counsellor for the first time can be daunting. I would like to reassure anyone thinking of contacting me that I offer a warm, friendly, relaxed and supportive environment; enabling clients to work through thoughts, problems and feelings in a confidential and non-judgmental setting.
During the past six years, after my own ADHD diagnosis at the age of 41, I have largely worked with clients diagnosed with ADHD, seeking assessment, or those who suspect they have the condition. I also offer professional development courses to fellow therapists, providing education about ADHD and the traits associated with a diagnosis. Given that restlessness has been one of my greatest personal ADHD challenges, I refer to myself as 'the restless therapist'. But please rest assured, you will have my full attention in the therapy room. I will bring my lived-experiences and understanding of ADHD to our sessions, and assist you in building improved self awareness and self-compassion. My belief is that 'you' are the expert of your life and I will work alongside you in order to help you find the answers/solutions that are right for you. I am a qualified Counselling Psychotherapist, Life Coach & Clinical Supervisor working in Nottingham (NG9 and online). My office is easily accessible by car (with free on-street parking). And is also accessible by public transport (Trent Barton I4). |
